This game is going to be a very defensive battle, clearly. I think this game can only be nasty if it’s not a blowout. These two teams are known for defense and chewing up a lot of clock. They both clearly did so in their Final Four games. Virginia has held their opponents to the least amount of points per game during the regular season in the country. They’ve also held their opponents to the fifth worst FG% and the forth worst 3-Point FG%. Texas Tech held their opponents to the worst FG% in the country. They also held their opponents to the third worst FG% and 12th most turnovers throughout the season. Virginia, though, has an upside because they did turned the ball over the eighth least amount of times. They are one smart team.
A preview and prediction will be released tomorrow, gameday.
